Terms of Service

MockClip (mockclip.com) is operated by Invisiblepuzzle Unipessoal LDA, a company registered in Portugal. In these terms "we" means Invisiblepuzzle Unipessoal LDA and "you" means the person or business using MockClip. Questions: info@mockclip.com.

By using MockClip, or by buying a plan, you agree to these terms.

You can use the editor without an account. Some features need you to sign in with Google or GitHub. An account is for one person; keep your sign-in and any API keys you create private, because you are responsible for what is done with them.

MockClip has a free plan and paid plans: Pro, a one-time payment, and Creator and Studio, subscriptions billed monthly or yearly. What each plan includes and its current price are on the pricing page.

Prices do not include VAT; tax is calculated at checkout based on your location. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. If we raise a subscription price, you keep the price you joined at.

Pro has a 7-day money-back guarantee: write to us within 7 days of buying it. You can cancel Creator or Studio at any time from your account page; the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and is not refunded pro rata. After that your account returns to Pro if you bought it, or to Free.

These terms do not limit any right to withdraw or to a refund that consumer law gives you.

What you type and upload (names, messages, photos) stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service, for example to store a short link you create or to render a clip you request through our API or MCP server. You must have the right to use anything you upload.

Our licence covers MockClip's software and the videos and images it produces, and nothing else. Under it:

• Free, Pro and Creator: you may use the videos you make in your own content, including monetised posts on your own social media channels.
• Studio: you may also use them in work you do for clients and in paid advertising.

Brand-free apps are original designs that recreate no real app. They are the templates meant for ads and client work. Templates that recreate real apps are covered by section 7 on every plan, Studio included.

Many templates recreate the look of real apps so you can illustrate, explain, review or parody them. MockClip is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI, Apple Inc., Meta Platforms, Inc., Reddit, Inc., Match Group, LLC, Google LLC, Slack Technologies, LLC, X Corp., Discord Inc. and Telegram Messenger Inc., or any other company whose app a template recreates. Their product names, logos and designs are their trademarks and remain theirs.

Our licence grants you no rights in those brands. How you use a template that recreates a real app is your responsibility: do not present a clip as a real conversation or a real app screen where that would mislead people, do not suggest that the app or its owner endorses you or your product, and check the owner's brand rules before using their design in advertising. For ads and client work, use a brand-free app.

Do not use MockClip to:

• commit fraud or run scams, or make fake evidence, receipts or messages meant to deceive;
• impersonate, harass or defame a real person, or show them without their permission;
• make anything illegal where you publish it;
• get around plan limits, watermarks or rate limits, or overload the service or its API.

We keep improving MockClip, so templates and features change over time. Videos are rendered in your browser, and results can differ between devices. We aim to keep the site available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted.

MockClip is provided as is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

You can stop using MockClip at any time; to delete your account, write to us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close a paid account for a reason other than a breach, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. We tell paying customers by email before a change that affects them takes effect; continuing to use MockClip after that means you accept it.

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim there.
