Create realistic iMessage conversation animations
Zooms the text, bubbles and bars together. The frame and bezel stay the same.
The preview plays as soon as it's ready. ⌘/Ctrl + Enter to send.
Make a video of an iPhone text conversation without touching a phone. The iMessage template plays your script back as blue and gray bubbles: the other person's typing bubble appears before their reply lands, your messages are typed out in the input field, and a Delivered or Read line sits under your latest text. You decide every word and pause.
Use it for text message story videos, ads, or explainers where the conversation is the content. Let Describe it mode draft the exchange from a short description, or type each message yourself in the manual editor. The preview updates in your browser as you edit, so you can check the timing before exporting.
Describe it mode turns a line like "a friend cancels plans last minute with an obviously fake excuse" into a full exchange. It needs a Google or GitHub sign-in; the manual editor needs no account.
Add messages as Me (blue, right) or the other person (gray, left), reorder them by dragging or with the arrow buttons, and add date labels like "Today 3:25 PM" between them.
Press play to check the rhythm. Then pick a format: MP4 for posting, GIF for short loops, or MOV or WebM to keep the background around the phone transparent.
Show the gray typing bubble for as long as you like before a reply. Turn on Cancel typing and it disappears without a message ever being sent.
Add heart, thumbs up, thumbs down, Ha Ha, exclamation, or question tapbacks to a bubble, with a delay so they land after the message.
Under your latest message, show Delivered, Delivered Quietly, or Read with a custom time such as 2:34 PM. Mark the contact as having notifications silenced and your delivered text reads Delivered Quietly, with a note that they have notifications silenced and a Notify Anyway link under it.
Attach an image to any message to show it inside the bubble. Set the contact name and photo for the centered header, or let it show their initial.
Keep the iPhone bezel and choose a 1:1 cropped square, or turn the bezel off and pick 9:16, iPhone, 3:2 landscape, or square.
Turn a confession, a breakup, or a mom who texts the same question three times into a texting video for TikTok, Reels, or Shorts.
Show a friend recommending your product over text, or a reminder your service sends, as a short clip for social posts.
Teach texting etiquette, scam warning signs, or a language lesson with a scripted exchange viewers can follow line by line.
Open the iMessage template, add messages for Me and the other person, set typing and delays, and press play. When it reads right, choose MP4, GIF, MOV, or WebM and export. Describe it mode can write a first draft after you sign in.
Yes. Give their message a typing duration and turn on Cancel typing. The typing bubble shows for that long, then disappears without a message being sent, which is handy for suspense.
Yes. With the iPhone bezel on, tick 1:1 Cropped (Square) and the conversation lays out to fit the square. With the bezel off, choose 1:1 from the aspect ratio list.
You can start making iMessage videos for free in your browser, and the manual editor works without an account. For what each plan includes, take a look at the pricing page.
