Fake Gemini Chat Video Maker

This template recreates a conversation with Google's Gemini app on a phone screen and plays it back as a video. Your messages are typed into the "Ask Gemini" bar with the keyboard up and sent as grey bubbles; each reply starts with the Gemini sparkle spinning while it thinks, then is revealed from top to bottom, with lists drawn as bullet points and the action row and the disclaimer fading in when it is done.

The default clip opens on the "Hello" welcome screen: your question is typed there with the suggestion chips still on screen, the home view gives way to the chat when it is sent, the title appears while Gemini thinks, and after the answer the side drawer slides open and closes again. You can drop the drawer from the flow and keep the video on the chat.

Build it by hand in the manual editor, which works without an account, or use Describe it: write a sentence about the exchange, such as asking Gemini to plan a weekend trip, and the AI drafts the questions, replies, and timing for you to adjust. Describe it requires signing in with Google or GitHub.

How it works

  1. 1

    Write the conversation

Add your messages and Gemini's replies in order and give the chat its title. Replies keep their blank lines, and lines starting with * or - become bullet points.

  2. 2

    Set the timing

For your messages, choose the typing speed or let them appear at once. For replies, set how long Gemini thinks, how fast the text streams, and whether the action row appears.

  3. 3

    Adjust the labels

Change the source label beside the logo, the text shown while thinking, the disclaimer under the last reply, and the input bar's hint, or hide any of them.

  4. 4

    Arrange screens and export

In Video flow, pick the home screen, the chat, and the side drawer, set how long each holds, turn touch indicators on or off, choose a dark or light theme, and export as MP4 or GIF.

Features

Top-to-bottom reveal

Each reply is revealed from top to bottom as one block, the way Gemini shows an answer, at the speed you set, and the chat scrolls so the text stays above the input bar.

Thinking animation

Before each reply the Gemini sparkle spins and pulses for as long as you choose, with an optional label beside it.

Typed messages and keyboard

Your messages are typed into the input bar with the iOS keyboard up and a key highlighted per letter, then sent as a bubble on the right.

Action row and disclaimer

Thumbs up, thumbs down, share, copy, and more fade in under a finished reply, and the disclaimer line sits under the last one.

Home screen and side drawer

The welcome screen with its greeting, one-line suggestion chips and an optional "New!" banner you can switch off, and the side drawer with your chats list, all with editable text.

Dark and light themes

The dark theme follows the design, and a light theme derived from it is one setting away in the editor.

Frame and export settings

Export MP4 or GIF at 720p or Full HD from 15 to 60 fps, with or without the iPhone bezel, including a 1:1 square crop.

What people make with it

  • AI explainer and tips videos

Show a prompt and Gemini's answer streaming in for a "how I use AI" short, a study tip, or a travel plan.

  • Comedy skits

Script an over-serious answer to a silly question with a long thinking pause, and export a vertical MP4 for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.

  • Product demos and tutorials

Walk viewers through a sequence of prompts and replies without screen-recording a real account.

  • Fiction and storytelling

Tell part of a story through a character's chats with an assistant, with every line written by you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make a fake Gemini chat video?

Open the Gemini template, write your messages and Gemini's replies, set the typing, thinking, and streaming timing for each, arrange the screens in Video flow, then press Play to preview and export the clip as MP4 or GIF.

Does it use the real Gemini?

No. Every message and reply is text you write; nothing is sent to Google or any AI model. Describe it uses MockClip's own AI to draft a script you can edit.

Can replies include images, code blocks, or tables?

No. Replies are plain text: blank lines are kept and lines starting with * or - become bullet points. Images, code blocks, tables, and headings are not drawn.

Can I export a Gemini chat as a GIF?

Yes. Pick GIF Animation or MP4 Video in the export settings, then choose 720p or Full HD and a frame rate from 15 to 60 fps. A lower frame rate usually keeps a GIF file smaller.

Is the Gemini video maker free?

You can start for free, and the manual editor works without an account. Plans and what each one includes are listed on the pricing page, so check there for the current details rather than relying on older posts or screenshots.
