Grok
Create realistic Grok conversation animations
The preview plays as soon as it's ready. ⌘/Ctrl + Enter to send.
This template recreates a conversation with the Grok app on a phone screen and plays it back as a video. Your question is typed into the "Ask anything..." bar with the keyboard up and search suggestions above it, then sent as an outlined bubble on the right. Grok's three dots pulse while it thinks, and the reply is revealed from top to bottom as plain text, with headings, bullet points, an optional photo, a sources pill, the action row and follow-up questions under it.
The default clip opens on the home screen with the Grok logo and the shortcut chips: the question is typed there, the chat takes over when it is sent, the answer streams in with its photo sharpening as it appears, and the model picker fades in over the chat at the end. You can drop the picker from the flow and keep the video on the conversation.
Build it by hand in the manual editor, which works without an account, or use Describe it: write a sentence about the exchange, such as asking Grok to plan a city break, and the AI drafts the questions, replies, and timing for you to adjust. Describe it requires signing in with Google or GitHub.
Add your questions and Grok's replies in order. Replies keep their blank lines, lines starting with * or - become bullet points, and lines starting with ## become headings.
Give a reply a photo (it appears where a line reads [image]), a sources count for the pill under it, and one or two follow-up questions. Set the search suggestions shown while you type.
For your messages, choose the typing speed or let them appear at once. For replies, set how long the dots pulse, how fast the text is revealed, and whether the action row appears.
In Video flow, pick the home screen, the chat and the model picker, set how long each holds, turn touch indicators on or off, choose a light or dark theme, and export as MP4 or GIF.
Each reply is revealed from top to bottom as one block at the speed you set, and the chat scrolls so the newest text stays above the input bar.
Before each reply three dots pulse in a wave under your message for as long as you choose.
Lines starting with ## are drawn as headings, and a reply can carry a photo that shows blurred at first and sharpens as the reveal reaches it.
A "Sources" pill with round thumbnails and the count you choose, the action row, and suggested follow-up questions fade in under a finished reply.
Your messages are typed into the input bar with the iOS keyboard up and a key highlighted per letter, while search suggestions above the bar show the part you have typed in bold.
The home screen with the Grok logo, the shortcut chips and an optional "Tap here to speak" tip, and the model picker popover over a frosted screen.
The light theme follows the design, and a dark theme derived from it is one setting away in the editor.
Export MP4 or GIF at 720p or Full HD from 15 to 30 fps, or 60 fps on the Creator plan, with or without the iPhone bezel, including a 1:1 square crop.
Show a prompt and Grok's answer streaming in, with its sources and follow-ups, for a "how I use AI" short, a travel plan or a study tip.
Script an overconfident answer to a silly question with a long thinking pause, and export a vertical MP4 for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
Walk viewers through a sequence of prompts and replies without screen-recording a real account.
Tell part of a story through a character's chats with an assistant, with every line written by you.
Open the Grok template, write your messages and Grok's replies, set the typing, thinking, and reveal timing for each, arrange the screens in Video flow, then press Play to preview and export the clip as MP4 or GIF.
No. Every message and reply is text you write; nothing is sent to xAI or any AI model. Describe it uses MockClip's own AI to draft a script you can edit.
Replies can include headings, bullet points and one photo you upload. Code blocks and tables are not drawn.
Yes. Pick GIF Animation or MP4 Video in the export settings, then choose 720p or Full HD and a frame rate from 15 to 30 fps, or 60 fps on the Creator plan. A lower frame rate usually keeps a GIF file smaller.
