This template recreates an X (formerly Twitter) timeline on a phone screen and plays it back as a video. Each post card has an avatar, name, verified badge, handle, time, text with hashtags, mentions and links in the accent colour, an optional photo or video thumbnail, and the reply, repost, like and share row with its counts.
A short script decides what happens while a screen is shown: scroll to a post with a smooth or flick-style motion, like or repost it while the counter rolls to its new value, or drop in a new-posts pill that slides fresh posts onto the top. The default clip scrolls the home feed, likes a post, taps into its thread, opens the repost sheet and goes back. You can add the side menu, a profile, the compose screen, search, notifications, messages and lists to the flow.
Build it by hand in the manual editor, which works without an account, or use Describe it: write a sentence such as a launch post getting liked while new posts pop in, and the AI drafts the posts, script and screens for you to adjust. Describe it requires signing in with Google or GitHub.
Add posts with a name, handle, time, text and counts, plus an optional avatar, photo or video thumbnail, verified badge, liked-by or reposted-by line, and a Show this thread link.
List what happens while the home feed or profile is shown: scroll to a post, the top or the bottom, like or repost a post, show the new-posts pill with the posts it brings in, or pause.
Set the focused post, its replies and replies that appear one by one, write the post shown after the compose screen, and edit the rows of the messages, new message, search and lists screens.
In Video flow, pick which screens appear, how they transition and how long each holds, turn touch indicators on or off, choose a light or dark theme, and export as MP4 or GIF.
Avatar, name, verified badge, handle and time, text with links in the accent colour, a photo or a video thumbnail with its length, liked-by and reposted-by lines, and the action row with counts.
The heart or repost icon pops and the counter rolls to its new value, including the step from 999 to 1K.
Smooth or flick-style scrolls to any post, and a new-posts pill with your own label that slides fresh posts onto the top of the feed.
Tap into a post to show it large with its full timestamp line, stats row and replies, reveal new replies one by one, and open the repost sheet over it.
A side menu that slides in and pushes the feed aside, a profile, a compose screen with the keyboard, search, notifications, messages, a new message screen and lists, with a touch indicator before each move.
The light theme follows the design kit, and a dark theme modelled on X's black Lights out mode is one setting away in the editor.
Export MP4 or GIF at 720p or Full HD from 15 to 60 fps, with or without the iPhone bezel, including a 1:1 square crop.
Show a launch post collecting likes while new posts about it pop in, for a promo, an investor update or a launch recap.
Walk viewers through a thread or a post that took off, without screen-recording a real account or blurring other people's names.
Script a timeline joke, such as a hot take that keeps getting replies, and export a vertical MP4 for TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.
Show how a post, a reply chain or the new-posts pill behaves in a lesson or a pitch, with fictional accounts you control.
Open the X template, write the posts, add script steps such as scroll and like, set up the thread view, arrange the screens in Video flow, then press Play to preview and export the clip as MP4 or GIF.
Yes. Write a post on the Compose tab and add the compose screen to the flow: once the video leaves it, your post sits at the top of the home feed. The text is not typed out letter by letter on the compose screen; the keyboard is shown with the screen.
The template covers the timeline, profile, thread view, repost sheet, side menu, compose, search, notifications, messages, new message and lists screens. Quote posts, polls, Spaces, bookmarks, playing video and DM conversations are not part of it; the messages screen is the inbox list.
Yes. Pick GIF Animation or MP4 Video in the export settings, then choose 720p or Full HD and a frame rate from 15 to 60 fps. A lower frame rate usually keeps a GIF file smaller.
