Fake LinkedIn Post and Feed Video Maker

This template recreates the LinkedIn home feed on a phone screen and plays it back as a video. Each post card has an avatar, name, connection degree, headline, time with the globe icon, an optional “likes this” line with bold names over a divider, the post text cut after three lines with “… see more”, an optional photo, the reactions row with its count and “N comments · N reposts”, and the Like, Comment, Repost and Send row.

A short script decides what happens while the feed is shown: scroll to a post, like it while the Like label turns blue and the reactions count rolls to its new value, or drop in a new-posts pill that slides fresh posts onto the top. The default clip scrolls to the second post and likes it, opens the share screen and comes back. You can add the notifications screen to the flow.

Build it by hand in the manual editor, which works without an account, or use Describe it: write a sentence such as a new-job post getting liked while you scroll, and the AI drafts the posts, script and screens for you to adjust. Describe it requires signing in with Google or GitHub.

How it works

  1. 1

    Write the posts

Add posts with a name, connection degree, headline, time, text and counts for likes, comments and reposts, plus an optional avatar, photo and a “likes this” line with bold names.

  2. 2

    Script the feed

List what happens while the home feed is shown: scroll to a post, the top or the bottom, like or repost a post, show the new-posts pill with the posts it brings in, or pause.

  3. 3

    Fill the other screens

Write the post that lands on the feed after the share screen, set your own name on the share screen, and rename the people on the notifications screen.

  4. 4

    Arrange screens and export

In Video flow, pick which screens appear, how they transition and how long each holds, turn touch indicators on or off, choose a light or dark theme, and export as MP4 or GIF.

Features

Post cards

Avatar, name, connection degree, headline, time with the globe icon, a “likes this” line with bold names over a divider, a photo, the reactions row, and the labelled Like, Comment, Repost and Send row.

Long post text is cut after three lines and ends in “… see more”, the way the feed shows it.

Animated likes

The Like icon and label turn blue and the reactions count rolls to its new value; a post with no reactions shows the reaction icons once it is liked.

Scripted scrolling and new posts

Scrolls to any post, the top or the bottom, and a new-posts pill with your own label that slides fresh posts onto the top of the feed.

Share screen and notifications

The share screen with your name, and a post you write there lands on top of the feed; the notifications screen with the people who reacted, with a touch indicator before each move.

Light and dark themes

Both themes follow the design kit: the light feed on its warm grey background and the dark navy theme.

Frame and export settings

Export MP4 or GIF at 720p or Full HD from 15 to 30 fps, or 60 fps on the Creator plan, with or without the iPhone bezel, including a 1:1 square crop.

What people make with it

  • Career and hiring posts

Show a new-job announcement or a hiring post collecting reactions, for a recap video, a course or a recruiting campaign.

  • B2B marketing mockups

Mock up how a launch post or a case study looks in the feed before it goes out, with fictional people and a company name you choose.

  • Short-form skits

Script a feed joke, such as a humble-brag post that keeps getting likes, and export a vertical MP4 for TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.

  • Social selling courses

Show how a post, its reactions and the see-more cut behave in a lesson or a workshop, without screen-recording a real account.

Guides

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make a fake LinkedIn post video?

Open the LinkedIn post template, write the posts, add script steps such as scroll and like, arrange the screens in Video flow, then press Play to preview and export the clip as MP4 or GIF.

Does the post I write on the share screen appear in the feed?

Yes. Write a post on the Share post tab and add the share screen to the flow: once the video leaves it, your post sits at the top of the home feed. The text is not typed out letter by letter on the share screen.

What is not supported?

The template covers the home feed, the share screen and the notifications screen. Opening a post with its comments, comment threads, the reaction picker, polls, documents, video posts and the profile page are not part of it. LinkedIn conversations are a separate template, LinkedIn message.

Can I export a LinkedIn feed animation as a GIF?

Yes. Pick GIF Animation or MP4 Video in the export settings, then choose 720p or Full HD and a frame rate from 15 to 30 fps, or 60 fps on the Creator plan. A lower frame rate usually keeps a GIF file smaller.

Is the LinkedIn post video maker free?

You can start for free, and the manual editor works without an account. Plans and what each one includes are listed on the pricing page. MockClip is not affiliated with LinkedIn Corporation; use fictional names and avatars in your clips.
